Khachik Hakobyan has been engaged in gardening and owns 2 hectares of apple and plum orchard in Nor Yerznka community, Aragatsotn region.

For the agribusiness expansion, in 2022, farmer established intensive Areni and Voskehat type vineyards (on 25 hectares of land in Areni village, Vayots dzor region) and walnut, cherry, peach and apricot orchard (on 10 hectares of land in Khachik village, Vayots dzor region).

With the support of the USAID-funded AGRI CAMP Program, the farmer received a tiller (Rinieri EL 115) and a shredder (Rinieri TRF 180) for the farmer’s tractor (New Holland 55-56 hp), which will help to mechanize and increase the efficiency of agricultural works in orchards.
