ICARE Foundation is looking for an Agrithon Team Leader to be hired in the scope of the USAID funded INNOVATIVE AGRICULTURE TRAINING AND LEARNING CAMP (AGRI CAMP) Program. Under the overall guidance of the Chief of Party and direct supervision of the Deputy Chief of Party, the Expert will organize and coordinate all activities under Agrithon component. Agrithon is a platform bringing together diverse specialists, including but not limited to agriculture specialists, female rural entrepreneurs, software developers, engineers, and other relevant partners together to pursue productivity and other demand-driven solutions in agriculture. Agrithons will be organized in two rounds and will help participants to improve their understanding of innovative solutions, promote networking and collaboration, and generate ideas for new product and service solutions for women agripreneurs.
❖ Manage all programmatic aspects to ensure successful planning and implementation of Agrithon component of the Program.
❖ Develop all relevant reports, analyses, scopes of works, terms of references, calls for participation and other Agrithon component related documents.
❖ Coordinate and oversee all organizational and logistic activities to ensure successful implementation of Agrithons.
❖ Support in recruiting, onboarding and supervising Agrithons mentors.
❖ Organize and attend meetings with team members, stakeholders, partners and other relevant parties to support Agrithon planning and implementation.
❖ Ensure compliance with USAID and ICARE rules and regulations throughout the implementation of Agrithons.
❖ Other tasks that fall under this component.
❖ At least a bachelor degree in the relevant field.
❖ Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge and experience in the area of agriculture, community development, innovative agricultural products and solutions.
❖ Experience working effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders including government, civil society groups, research institutions, private sector partners and local communities.
❖ Proven experience in donor funded projects, planning and implementing large-scale events, and developing reports in the relevant field.
❖ Strong team working, interpersonal and analytical skills.
❖ Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
❖ Excellent computer literacy, knowledge of MS office software and web based applications;
❖ Fluency in English and Armenian.
